Beaujolais is located in the south of Burgundy, and sometimes also attributed to Burgundy region. Typical continental climate, during summer,the temperature is high, and in autumn it is very dry ,it’s very helpful for the maturation of gamay. the northern part of Beaujolais region mostly is hillside landscape, the hard granite layer are covered with weathered gravel, silica, rich in mineral content, is the location of 10 premium vineyards, it can create a rich taste and complex Gamay wine. In the south is a large plain, mostly are shallow clay soil , mainly used for brewing Beaujolais new wine with a refreshing taste.
