Sauternes region is located in the left bank of the Gronne River ,the south of the Graves region, the Sauvignon region is gravel soil, has a good drainage, andit is warm in both summer and autumn, providing excellent conditions for the noble rot. , Sauternes region ,Hungary Tokaji and Germany Rheingau are the world's three major regions of botrytised wine.  Sautern wine is a gift of God , because the botrytis cinerea is very delicate, it doesn’t appear in any vineyard can, it needs a unique micro-climate - coldmorning , sufficient water vapor, and dry hot afternoon. Damp climate in the morning is conducive to the spread of botrytis cinerea,dry and hot afternoon inhibit its growth, so that the water evaporated from where it infect, to improve the sweetness of grapes. Few regions can meet the requirements of all this aspect. the Sauternes region is divided in 5 regions, Sauternes, BommeS, Fargues, Preignac and Basac These five regions produce sweet white wines, can be collectively referred as the Sauternes wine, but every region of the sweet white wine has different style. Sauternes region is large, the soil are mostlygravel. The wine produced here are known for a luxury rich sweet taste, well-known chateau d’yquem of lvsalvsi is also in this area.
